Gary Tellish

Owner & Operator

With over 30 years of experience in construction, safety, training, emergency services, and utility environments, Gary Tellish — a veteran and published author of Measured Progress — founded GET High Drones to eliminate unnecessary risk created by unsafe access, poor sightlines, and hazardous conditions.

His philosophy is clear: drones do not replace experience — they amplify it. Under his leadership, GET High Drones reduces worker exposure, strengthens documentation, and enables teams to make faster, safer, defensible decisions.

Why This Matters

These credentials reflect a rare combination of construction safety leadership, risk management, and professional UAS operations—bringing disciplined, safety-first drone services that integrate smoothly into active jobsites without increasing exposure.

Our Safety Approach

Safety isn't a slogan — it's the result of disciplined planning, sound judgment, and doing the work the right way in the field. I built GET High Drones around the realities of active jobsites, where risk is real and decisions matter.

My approach is shaped by decades of field experience and the principles I developed in my book Measured Progress — an approach to safety leadership that treats risk management as a system, not a checklist. Every flight plan, every deliverable, and every decision on-site follows that same discipline: measure what matters, document what you see, and always leave the site safer than you found it.

As a veteran-owned business, I bring mission-driven accountability, leadership, and respect for risk to every operation — whether supporting a single site or coordinating across multiple locations. Travel and extended project support are available.

Let's talk about what you need and how I can support your project.
